Catherine was born in Sydney and had lived on the upper North Shore until her move to Cairns in late 2009.
She is a 4th and 5th generation Australian and is very proud of her pioneer ancestors, who helped shape many suburbs in Sydney and country towns in NSW, arriving in Australia in the 1830’s.
She has self published 20 books on her family tree since 1988. She continues her research, ever-ready for a new publication.
Catherine belongs to Willoughby Historical Society, The Friends of Gore Hill Cemetery (St Leonards NSW) and The Oaks Historical Society (Picton/Camden NSW).
She is married to Paul, with two daughters and three grandsons. She is Aunt and Great Aunt to her extended family.
